Ok, cut off the craps, let's began my story...
...After an hour train trip, i finally stepped on this unfamiliar land with my own foot, own self...The breezy wind seem kissing me and telling me WELCOME TO TAI CHUNG!! My journey was began right here, right now!!^^
With the aid of the young lady of tourist info office, i got into the right bus to Art Museum without any difficulty...This is a good sign for my journey...=)
There is a monitor in the bus to show you what is the next station, so no need to worry about getting down at a wrong station. Oh ya, remember prepare some coins for bus ridding...=)
OH~Art Museum is renovating now...so need to use the side door for entering...But yii~ Why the museum looks so empty??? Oh my, they just sent off part of the exhibit items...sad...T____T i came on the wrong time...Since nothing much to see here, i watched a documentary about Taiwan White Terror named "春天许金玉的故事"...Actually i not very know on this historical event, but the strong determination of Madam Xu really impressed me a lot, she never regret on what has she done, and her love to husband truly give me a deep thought...Bleeding is the fastest way to make the world change...

my enthusiasm sank down when seeing this empty hall... |
Leaving Art Museum, continued to Science Centre...I choose went there by walking as i can saw the street view and simply enjoyed the moment when i was alone...I spent quite a lot of time to get there as i kept loss direction...but i still got there, obstacles were not obstacles anymore as i can overcome it, enjoyed the searching process...=)
Passed by Sogo and have a look into it..the lift lady and gentleman made me felt uneasy...haha |
Inside has lots of different theme halls can visit...
I just surprise even on weekdays also lot of students came to have a visit to the Science Centre...My hope to have a peace of mind was doomed...LOL...Quite down for this...haha |
look carefully, this drawing was made up by the wings of butterflies!!! the grave for butterfly...>< |
Gonna 5pm, is time to leave...Since the travel pamphlet i read included the landmark of Tung Hai University - Luce Chapel as one of the spot, so how can i miss it?!..=) This chapel was designed by the architect and artist Chen Chi-Kwan in collaboration with the firm of noted architect I. M. Pei, and named in honor of Rev. Henry Luce, an American missionary in China in the late 19th century and father of publisher Henry Luce.
The Luce Chapel Day getting darker and my stomach also singing already, is time to find some food at Tung Hai night market to console myself...=) It's really people mountain people sea, hahaReally walked a lot for today, should have a nice rest for tomorrow...With my youth travel pass i got a bed at 国军英雄馆 with only TWD 500...actually one room is shared by 3 people but since weekdays no much people come so i own the whole room by only myself, wakaka...XD |
Room 518 |
Next day, after having the breakfast at hotel, should departed to Lu Kang for my next adventure...The bus from Tai Chung to Lu Kang is very frequent, the journey took about 1.5 hours, so how i spent the time?! Sleeping is the most suitable one, hehe..=p
Oh, the big sun there made my skin getting more tanning...I planned to go folk museum 1st but i accidentally went to 丁家大宅...Well, is no harm for me to have a look there right?..=)
The folk museum just located behind the 丁家大宅, is a Baroque style building, and it looks grand... Many antiques can be seen there, but the antiques clothes is the one which attracted my attention the most...
鹿港民俗文物馆 Lu Kang is not a big town but it also cost me quite a lot of time in searching the Long Shan temple...I just confused with the signboard there..lol...This temple is so old, i like the old chairs, old doors, old windows, old roof...like anything that looks old there, make me felt that it is a real old temple exist for very long time, not human made old temple... |
龙山寺 |
i also went to the breast touching alley, from the description i saw from the folk museum, it said that this alley is so narrow until cannot walk by 2 people in one time...but are you guys think is it so narrow?!
摸乳巷 Before leaving Lu Kang, went to took a picture at the fake railway station...haha...So this is the end of my lonely trip...would it be someone to accompany for the next trip...let's wait and see... |
